I love the old flair. Teleporting people in an era that’s no longer around. Both with my fashion and music. It’s part of me. It’s all one.
What makes your style stand out?
There is an aesthetic thats reminiscent of the past. That’s ranging for me from the swing big band era suits to the 50s, 60s, and 70s! The colors were bright and bold, patterns, accessories and combinations that stand out! I like the natural feel to them, where I find myself wearing the clothes, not the clothes wearing me. The whole thing that makes it special I believe is the natural feel of it, like it was the first thing I saw and just put it on!
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Being a musician , and not a model necessarily fashion for me is all the social events I attend, but most importantly the stage! Being a pianist and singer songwriter I’ve drawn huge inspiration from Sir. Elton John so when I stumbled upon this competition I thought to myself, YES! So for me, it’s being on tour, having a car just for all my costumes suits and accessories, playing shows around the world. Yep, that’s quite the dream moment right there!
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use that money to prepare a USA tour for my new album, be able to pay my band, book the venues and all! I have been thrifting my whole life so for me it was never about expensive clothes necessarily but I would like the pioneers (my band) to looks just as good, so probably some clothes for them too! I would also print my vinyl and save the rest for the recording of my next album in a nice studio (since I’ve been demoing everything myself in my own apartment)
