What makes your style stand out?

For me, fashion is more than clothes, it’s storytelling, protest, and a celebration of identity. In a time when LGBTQ+ rights are under threat and immigrant voices are often silenced, I see my style as a form of rebellion, a way of saying: I am here, and I am not going anywhere. Every look I create pushes against boundaries, not only of style but of expectation. What makes my style stand out is not just how it looks, but what it communicates: courage, heritage, and authenticity.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment is seeing my own designs on the runway at a major fashion week, worn by queer and Latinx models. It would be a moment of representation and celebration, but most importantly, a message to younger generations that it’s always okay to be yourself.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20K, I would launch my own brand, investing in the equipment and studio space needed to design and produce garments. My goal would be to create pieces that reflect my personal style and identity as a queer designer, sharing clothing that is bold, authentic, and representative of voices often overlooked in fashion.
