What makes your style stand out?

Here’s my take: Life’s a stage. When we step out the door, it’s drag. Outfits are armour equipped with the tools we need to face the good and the bad. And my style? What can I say, I love to make a statement. Tongue-in-cheek & curated for curious minds. I like to be subversive (read: annoying).¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I love extremes; layered to the max or stripped to my hot pants, flowing between masc & femme, dark & light. I love exaggeration, loud silhouettes and above alI, I love to have fun with it.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream is more of a transcendent-multidisciplinary-essence that a specific moment. Give me legacy! Brand recognition! Undeniable je-ne-sais-quoi! A stylistic through line that can be seen across my entire body of work is my guiding star. Nadia Lee Cohen is an incredible reference point. I mean, the woman is absolutely ICONIC. Anything she touches be it film, photo, styling is distinctly HERS. Cohesive, authentic, and c*nt as f*ck. I want my style to be recognized, respected & referenced ∞.

What would you do with $20,000?

D.I.Y. venues in Toronto are disappearing like a solid tuck. And in this SPOOKY political climate, it’s getting harder and harder for grass-roots creators to find affordable, safe spaces to host events. I would love to co-create a multi-use space with my friends that caters to the Queer art community. Centring queer work & giving a platform to marginalized groups. A hub for hosting workshops, gallery shows, parties and longer term projects— the possibilities are endless!
