Style is my universal language — a way to express mood, protect, stand out or blend in. Each day starts with “Who do I want to be today?”
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it’s deeply personal — it tells a story rather than follows a rule. I see clothing as a form of expression and advocacy, a way to communicate identity, strength, and empathy. As an activist, I believe that what we wear can challenge stereotypes and inspire dialogue. Sometimes my style is bold and loud, sometimes quiet and simple, but it’s always intentional — a reflection of authenticity, creativity, and the freedom to be myself.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be using style to tell a powerful story — walking into a space where fashion meets activism, where every piece reflects courage, diversity, and freedom. As an LGBT activist working in a homophobic country like Russia, I see fashion as more than self-expression — it’s also a tool for advocacy, a way to speak without words and to show that visibility itself can be an act of resistance.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use the $20,000 to create a fashion collection for LGBT teens in Russia — a project that combines art, empowerment, and safety. Through this collection, I want to give young people a way to express themselves freely and feel seen in a society that often silences them. Fashion can be a form of activism — a way to remind them that they are not alone and that their identity is something to be proud of.
