What makes your style stand out?
my style is deeply personal and rooted in memory and trauma as a childhood cancer survivor—i treat garments as living archives. i use collage, scent, and texture to connect with nostalgia, grief, joy, and survival. i don’t design to decorate the body; i design to give voice to emotions and identities often overlooked. my work is playful yet raw, mixing humour and heaviness, and i think that balance—heart on the table but always questioning—makes it stand out.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
my dream moment would be to create a show that feels more like a ritual than a runway. imagine incense, collage walls, spoken word, and garments that carry handwritten poems or personal relics sewn into their linings. guests wouldn’t just watch clothes pass by—they’d be immersed in a full sensory world where fashion becomes memory, performance, and healing all at once. a moment where the audience walks away feeling something, not just consuming an image.
What would you do with $20,000?
i would use it to help fund my studies at central saint martins, where i’ve been offered a place on the fashion design course. the support would allow me to invest in essential materials, sketchbooks, and textile experimentation that are vital to my creative process. more than anything, it would give me the freedom to fully focus on developing my voice as a designer, without the heavy weight of financial pressure holding me back.
