Experimental and uniquely tailored to my Nigerian-American experience, I play with accessories & colors to animate my self expression.
What makes your style stand out?
My wardrobe is my canvas: refined yet provoking— silhouette carved with contrasting layers and tailored cuts. Bold color coordination is a signature, drawn from my Nigerian heritage. With me, attention to detail is a precept where accessories are not just accents—they often anchor the look.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment isn’t just about personal recognition—it’s about community. I envision attending the Met Gala one day, but even more so I dream of creating alongside my friends who design and style clothing themselves (@kozybutterfly & @godis.xtc on IG to name some). Collaborating with them on high-profile editorials or magazine covers would be a dream come true, because it allows us to rise together for collective impact.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would create a project that uplifts young Black girls by celebrating the beauty and versatility of our hair. I’d partner with local Nashville models, designers, educators, etc; to produce a community-based fashion show and photo series to raise awareness about the CROWN Act and advocate for a world where Black kids can grow up free to express themselves without discrimination. Fashion is more than aesthetics—it’s a tool for empowerment, storytelling, and rewriting narratives for the next gen.
