Style is my language of authenticity. As a designer each look I wear is a declaration of who I am, unfiltered and unapologetic
We would like to thank you for supporting Nidhiya V Raj in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style blends high fashion with rebellion; think desert gypsy couture meeting futuristic identity. I don’t dress to fit in; I dress to provoke feeling, to embody mythologies, and to create conversations without words. Snakes, phoenixes, and sacred geometry flow into my silhouettes, merging heritage with modern edge. Every outfit is a ritual of power, vulnerability, and reinvention
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream is to unveil a Pink & Kink collection on a world stage; imagine a backdrop of UFO projection-mapped at Milan FW, models emerging as cosmic gypsies in red, black, and gold, merging myth with modern couture. For me, a true fashion moment isn’t just a runway; it’s like a portal where storytelling, spectacle, and identity collide, leaving the audience transformed
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d invest in elevating Pink & Kink’s debut runway -sourcing sustainable luxury fabrics, collaborating with artisans, and amplifying diverse voices through couture. The funds would fuel production and create immersive storytelling campaigns, ensuring the brand doesn’t just launch collections but births a subculture. It’s not just clothing-it’s empowerment, myth, and movement.
