Style as a manner of personal expression and identity is so versatile; changing between seasons, situations, and cultural climates.
We would like to thank you for supporting Nicole Gardner in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out as a matter of confidence. The curation of a look is as important for a trip to the grocery store as a walk down a red carpet; it has to suit the moment, and exude confidence. For me, I can blend in with the crowd, or strike a bold contrast. I love the impact subtleties of something like a shoe swap or an earring exchange can have on the overall vibe and presentation of style.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is stepping out onto the red carpet of a premiere for a movie I'm in, styled by an fashion design icon such as Valentino or Dior. Wearing a look curated for me for that specific event is a dream for me, because it would represent a culmination of all of my hard work and determination to get to that point in my career, and beacon the success that follows.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000, I would buy myself the freedom to pursue my dreams full-time. As an aspiring actor, my ultimate goal is to span the zeitgeist from Hollywood to the West End, starring in movies and originating roles in new musicals, performing as both a passion and a successful career. The $20,000 would be an investment into my future, which would further translate into my becoming a force for good in the world; with a platform with which to do so, I would be a voice for justice and positivity.
