My passion is charity works. Fashion brings people together to support causes. I like design elegance, confidence, and cultural storytelling
We would like to thank you for supporting Nghiem Debbie in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
Bold, Unique, Daring, East meets West (Fusion Style). Another words, I fuse the eccentric richness of traditional Eastern design with the bold, boundary-pushing energy of the West . My style is where cultural heritage meets high fashion, and nothing is off-limits. Expect the unexpected. I don’t follow trends. I merge worlds.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream in fashion is to share the beauty, the art, and the rich cultural heritage of Vietnamese fashion Ao Dai . I want to see Ao Dai proudly represented and sold in major department stores across the U.S., where currently, there is little to no demand. That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to designing dresses that blend the elegance of Eastern tradition with the modern sensibilities of the West. I hope to introduce more people to Ao Dai, making it both wearable and celebrated on a global stage.
What would you do with $20,000?
If I had $20,000, I would invest in unforgettable experiences and opportunities that align with my passion for fashion, creativity, and personal growth. First, I would attend Fashion Week — ideally in Paris, Milan, or New York. Second, I’d set aside a portion of the money to invest in personal branding. Finally, maybe taking courses in fashion marketing or advance design.
