What makes your style stand out?

In my personal style, I reference aspects from my cultural background, as a Mexican American citizen I take great pride in representing both of my cultures. I reference cultural apparel from Mexico, such as folkórico dresses as well as indigenous braids into my outfits and I add my punk rock elegance into my style. Combining the two cultural apparels and aesthetics, I created my own representation of what it's like to be Mexican-American by visually displaying it through my style.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I aspire to become a creative director in the fashion industry, and finding a brand that represents my visual, aesthetic and ideas, as well as their own personal views and vision of how they see the fashion industry and changing aspects.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 toward paying off my tuition. I currently attend the Fashion Institute of Technology a well renown school that has been my dream to attend since I was young. My family and I are not millionaires and we had to work extra hard to make my dream of attending The Fashion Institute of Technology come true. I would love to be able to pay off my tuition, so paying the money back is no longer a concern.
