Style is my diary when words fail me. Accessories and layers are my secret language: tiny signatures that turn minimal looks into stories.
What makes your style stand out?
My style is a scrapbook of the world! Each outfit I put together tells a story inspired by the people, emotions, and cultures I’ve come upon in my life. As the child of immigrants who didn't always have the easiest time fitting in, I use my fashion to mix textures and traditions to create something new. Every look carries a memory, a connection, a moment that reminds me how beautifully diverse our world is. It's how I was always able to express resilience, identity, and the courage to be myself.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is seeing cultural and unique types of ethnicwear seamlessly blended into everyday style. To know that traditions aren’t seen as “different,” but as beautiful expressions of identity. I want to redefine what’s considered “normal” in fashion, especially for young girls growing up in America who may come from other cultures, so they can proudly wear pieces that reflect who they are, walking into school feeling confident, celebrated, and fully themselves.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d use it to build a collection that celebrates the beauty of blended identities. Drawing from my travels and immigrant roots, I am passionate about highlighting stories that deserve to be seen. I’d collaborate with artisans from different cultures, using sustainable materials to create inclusive wearable art that honors tradition while redefining modern style. To essentially create a piece of evidence honoring that our differences are our greatest strength.
