What makes your style stand out?

My style stands out because it’s authentic. I’m usually either ahead of trends or behind them. I don’t like for the things I truly love to get watered down by popularity. What’s “in” is often just for a moment, and then it fades, but I want my pieces to last. I try to be as sustainable as possible within my budget, and my love for accessories pushes me to make them more unique and colorful. One good accessory can pull an outfit together. That’s actually what made me start painting my own.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment is to look out from the runway with thankfulness and gratitude, knowing I trusted myself and my creativity. To see the people who supported me share in that joy would be a full circle moment in my journey.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the money to do things I’ve hesitated to do. To me, it would show that the work I’ve put in, although priceless, can also be worth something. I’ve felt the call to the beauty industry since I was a little girl, but I doubted myself and sometimes felt like I didn’t fit the mold. Now, I’m in a place where I’m more self-assured and confident, and I want to invest in opportunities that align with who I am. Even if I don’t stick with it forever.
