What makes your style stand out?
I push my own aesthetic and don’t yield to trends. My style is based on fantasy, whether it’s anime or video games. Sometimes I like to be normal. I create space for “nerdy” people like me to feel like they belong in fashion just as much as everyone else. Every niche interest has an equal value; invaluable.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Having millions of soldiers in the Yeoy army. Starting a wave and it becomes a tsunami. I want to create a movement and make crazy motion. Liberate the world and such, you know the vibe.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would invest in my own brand, “Yeoy”, and really take off, investing in manufacturing and marketing, and possibly a studio. I would also pay off (some) of my student debt.
