What makes your style stand out?

I’ve learned that an excess amount of pink definitely makes you distinguishable in a crowd. But, it isn't just the shock factor. My style is a continuous labor of love. It’s an ode to myself. I will embrace joy in a world that doesn’t want me to have any. I’m not afraid to keep pushing my limits. I’ve surprised myself with how much my style and confidence has evolved over the past few years! I don’t fear the scrutiny of others. If someone asks me “What’s the occasion?” I always say “Life!”

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I would love to walk a runway show, at least once. The process of getting ready backstage with everyone, getting to talk to designers about their pieces, and bringing them to life on stage would be amazing. Sometimes, if I have my headphones in, I like to imagine I’m on a runway and walk to the beat of the music I’m listening to. It's a fun way to build my confidence if I do get on that runway one day. I definitely don’t think it’s too out of reach, I’ll keep dreaming. The sky is the limit!

What would you do with $20,000?

There are a few things I have in mind. I would like to bring down some of my student loan balance. Give to those who are in need, especially towards the many mutual aid requests that I see in my community and beyond. I would definitely treat my loved ones to further express my gratitude for their continuous support. They’ve helped so much to boost my confidence and they deserve the best! After these considerations, I wouldn’t mind treating myself to a new dress or pair of shoes too :)
