What makes your style stand out?

My style is my imagination incarnate. I don’t buy a new outfit when an idea comes to mind. I grab my crochet hook or my sewing machine and I bring that idea to life. I want to bring an end to fast fashion and consumerism by combining creativity and conservation. Upcycling is my passion and I (literally) wear my passions on my sleeves.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My five year plan is to be on Project Runway. I want to design for the stars. I want to show people that fiber arts and upcycling have a place in the fashion world. My dream fashion moment is to see my designs walk down a professional runway for hundreds to see, and to change the way our industry is seen. My style is inclusive. It’s affordable. My brand is accessible. I want it to be huge.

What would you do with $20,000?

This kind of money would change so much for my brand. It would give me the chance to grow and compete on the same level as my greatest influences. I want to invest in myself, and I want to invest in my dreams. I would upgrade my website, my inventory, my supplies, my tools, and give myself the foundation that I need in order to make an impact in this incredibly fast-moving industry. $20,000 would create opportunities that I can only dream of at this time.
