What makes your style stand out?

My relationship to clothing has always merged my love of art through the ages & essential resourcefulness. Alchemizing risks compositionally by wearing and pairing things in wrong ways that feel right. I use elements and principles of design in my arrangements of vintage or peculiar pieces as well as trusting the ancestral necessity of sewing / tailoring as a tool to express my truth, juxtaposing form with function & building authentic energy through maximal play!

What’s your dream fashion moment?

In my minds eye there is a shift where materiality on earth is linked to the healing & liberation of the soul. I see a modular interactive textile installation in a warehouse bringing integral idols of all classes to participate in artful revolution/runway ritual. A ball that storytells our re-communing with our abundant nature of heart & character. I also crave to continue dressing creatives & performers of integrity such as my existing clients (members of SHEBAD & rapper Noname to name a few).

What would you do with $20,000?

As an interdisciplinary artist / costume designer from a humble rural upbringing, I aim to improve my education in marketing & technological literacy. For my debut collection I would love quality printings of my drawings /paintings for rolls of fabric. I would also invest in further learning couturier level sewing & the foundations of shoe cobblery. Gaining a voice transmuting fashion's sway over time, I'd transform my studies into wearable +written art. Then share what I receive with my world!
