My style changes from day to day, depending on how I’m feeling. Punk rock, indie sleaze, minimalist, classic, and thrifted finds.
We would like to thank you for supporting Megan Chang in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it’s a fusion of storytelling and self-expression — bold colors, vintage influences, and classic pairings that reflect my identity as a pansexual Taiwanese American woman. I dress like I write: playful, fearless, and layered with meaning. My look isn’t about following trends but about transforming the everyday into art, letting personality lead the outfit.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is stepping onto a red carpet at a major film festival in a look that’s fearless and bold — method dressing for the character I’m playing. I want my outfit to blur the line between fashion and performance, turning the carpet into a stage where style isn’t just worn, it’s lived.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d use $20,000 to support my parents and fund a short-film project I’d write, turning my stories into art. From costumes to sets, I’d invest in bringing bold, personal narratives to life, proving that style and creativity can be a form of storytelling and self-expression.
