Mayte Villagomez

Style is more than just clothing—it’s a powerful form of self-expression that allows me to show the world who I am without saying a word.

What makes your style stand out?

t stands out because it’s unapologetically mine. Sharp silhouettes, soft rebellion, a little chaos in the details. I dress like I’m writing poetry no one else gets to edit.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

Walking a rooftop runway in the middle of the city at midnight — skyline behind me, spotlight on me. Leather, sheer layers, chains that catch the light. It’s not about applause. It’s about presence.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’d split it — half to build a wardrobe that moves like I do, half to seed my own brand. My style’s not just for me. It’s a blueprint. Before the fantasy fits and dream closets, there’s rent, bills, and basic needs. Fashion is expression, but survival is priority. Sometimes the most creative outfits come from limitations — thrifting, reworking, making five pieces feel like fifty. Style doesn’t require wealth, but economic freedom makes space for play. With stability, I could invest in quality.
