Style is freedom: the older I get, the bolder I dress, choosing pieces that speak to me, not to everyone!
We would like to thank you for supporting Maud Orny in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
At 50, I wear my style as a statement: timeless yet fearless. I know how to spot the piece that defines the moment—the jacket, the shoes, the detail that speaks louder than words. My style stands out because it’s not about age or rules, but about confidence and curiosity. I mix the unexpected, and I dare to wear what others only glance at. That bold twist makes my style just mine. (Dr Martens for all seasons are my masterpiece!!)
What’s your dream fashion moment?
To travel the world through style—exploring cultures, colors, skin's ages and silhouettes that tell stories. To walk into a room, feel transformed, and let fashion reveal every hidden spark of beauty. I dream of being elevated, not just dressed—of living the art of fashion as an endless journey of wonder.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000, I’d take a sabbatical to travel the world—discovering cultures, meeting people, and letting fashion, art, and beauty inspire me. It would be the gift that feed my soul, enriches my style, and gives me stories to share all the rest of my life. And maybe, I’d travel the fashion capitals—Paris, Milan, Tokyo, New York—immersing myself in shows, ateliers, and emerging designers... Wow! Such a dream...
