Growing up I wasn’t allowed to express myself. I was always told I was too much, now getting dressed gives me joy. It makes me feel free.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it’s different everyday. One day I’m dressed like a cowgirl, and the next I put on green contacts and go for a fairy look. It’s never the same 2 days in a row. Style isnt about having money, its about HOW you wear and present your outfitts. Most of my clothes are thrifted. My entire renfair outfit was less than 100$. my corset and skirt fluffer were from the free shelf at my college. Accesories and jewlery can change the feel or look of an outfit COMPLETELY!
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment, would definitely be to model on a run way. Ive been thinking about taking some cosmetology classes to show off other peoples beauty. Ive always dreampt of a navy blue star-like dress its been a concept for me since middle school, and one day it love to bring it to life. a small moment to shine and bring a bit a peace to my inner child and using my voice to spread awareness about Child abuse, and sharing my story.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would like to continue my studies as a student in art. I put 10k away in a trust fund I couldn’t touch till I was 30, so I could potentially buy a small house in Japan. 5K will be split amongst my friends and parents. As well as 2k going to the YMCA I went to as a kid. I have to give back to my community. helping the homeless and hungry population in minneapolis could bring some joy and hope and ease someone elses burdens. it would be a waste not to help others in need.
