What makes your style stand out?

I’m not afraid to try new things and I put together outfits that some people wouldn’t feel comfortable in. I like to combine structure and layers and I base my outfits around my feelings of the day. I love mixing retro styles with modern pieces. I love colour, patterns and prints and funky accessories. I also style my hair accordingly to my outfit and I just love being creative and having fun. Even if no one likes what you wear, they’re probably wishing they could dress like you ;)

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I would love to work with a designer and creative a line or piece tailored to my style but that reflects the designer’s brand. I would be honoured to see the craftsmen ship that goes into designing a piece and a collection. From the initial sketches, to the construction and production. I’m an art and theatre major and I’m so inspired and fascinated by the works of famous artists and designers.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’ve worked in retail for many years and I’ve always wondered what happens to the clothes that won’t sell. I’ve been trying to start a company or charity that works with clothing retailers to purchase clothes that are on clearance or markdown and repurpose them, either giving them to the less fortunate or reusing the materials in a sustainable way to create new products or clothes.
