What makes your style stand out?

Some are content with ‘humdrum’, not me! I dream up anything but! There’s always a touch of fantasy and magic in my garments. I call my style ‘Casual Elegance’ because I think stuffiness takes away the joy of dressing up. Nothing detracts from Glamour more than looking uncomfortable.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I met Cher and Dolly Parton on a shopping spree on Brighton Way in Beverly Hills. It was a glorious afternoon and Cher was ‘incognito’ in a one piece bathing suit, an extra huge brimmed straw hat, shades and platform sandals. Dolly wore jeans and a black and white striped shirt with rainbow colored ribbons fringing her sleeves.

What would you do with $20,000?

I wrote a musical entitled Hollywood Revival. As the singer in my rock band named Marlowe B West Takez Manhattan I usually add some of those songs in our set lists. But my ultimate goal is to finally get my full musical on the Broadway stage and made into a blockbuster movie.
