What makes your style stand out?
I love to dress to express different versions of myself. I've explored different cultures like Europe, the Middle East, and North American styles to understand my own personal style. Fashion is art and what is so unique about this world is there is not one right way to dress, it's about what makes you happy and feel comfortable in your own skin. I mix both vintage, custom & modern fashion. My mom always told me to wear the clothes, never let the clothes wear you. Confidence makes you stand out.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I was raised by immagrant parents who always taught me to work hard and do what I love. I started a club to allow others to think differently about fashion and the world. We partnered with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation for out most recent fashion show and now are partnered with the Virgil Abloh Foundation. Through Vault I got to design outfits, model, and plan the events. We went to a designer show in Paris and Chicago. My dream is to live more in the world of fashion, and continue to create
What would you do with $20,000?
I love being able to create things for others happiness. My dream is to move to New York and start my own custom jewlery business with repurposed and unique materials. I am taking a step towards my dream, moving in October, I have begun making inventory & I've created a brand (slicesoflove.com). I need support financially as I will be working a couple jobs, I worked all throughout college as well as starting The Vault a fashion/business club at UWMadison. I long to create beauty in this world.
