What makes your style stand out?

My style is loud, but also classic. I like it when clean lines, bold colors and textures do the work in my designs. I want you to feel curious, challenged, and also interested in looking closer when you see my designs. I believe style is about letting your creativity and confidence speak for you, and feel my designs speak clearly for what I am feeling internally.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would be debuting a line on a major runway. To get to this moment, I would need more time, more equipment, and the space to let my creativity flow. Winning the Style Icon would give me this opportunity to follow my dream and create a collection that would show the world I am a designer who has ideas that make an impact, and are wearable.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I were to win the $20,000 I would invest it in myself and my business. I currently work out of our home living space, and I would use the money to purchase industrial machines, then invest in my business by taking time to create a line, and also purchase the materials I would need to bring my ideas to life on a runway in a dedicated space. I would also open myself for commissioned fashion pieces and create multiple sizes of some of my designs and offer them to boutiques in the region.
