Madison Manns

Hand-me-downs and thrifts comprise 70% of my wardrobe. I care about shape, comfort, and visual texture. The rainbow is my color spectrum!

What makes your style stand out?

My style is not just for me—I enjoy styling ALL people! Every age, body type, hair style…. the differences between us make for a more interesting and vibrant world, and to help people discover what aesthetic makes their reflection the most authentically their own? That’s the dream! I use unconventional silhouettes on myself and others, because who says we have to dress to look thinner? Let’s hear it for texture, shape, and presence! Fashion is a feeling, and we should all feel like ourselves.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I want to style PEOPLE (and by that I mean: all different walks of life). One day, I’d love to consult on practicality and branding for clothing companies, reimagining how we live in clothes, shoes, etc. On the small scale, I’d love to have a loft where I can style people with a size and culture-inclusive collection of hand-picked pieces. On a grander scale, I would love to have a fashion company for average folks that allows self-expression and biologically-minded craftsmanship to shine!

What would you do with $20,000?

As a Gen Z-er in 2025’s America, I have some medical bills I need to pay off, and another surgery I cannot yet afford. BUT with the leftover money, I could follow my dreams of going to school to get a better handle on textiles and media. I have an art degree and styling experience, but I believe an education could help me make connections and learn the theory behind what is currently intuition. I want to study in the UK, where I did a uni exchange. Life is hard, and money can feed our dreams.
