What makes your style stand out?
The layers, literal and figurative. A lot of my style is built upon many different references, from movies to books to photoshoots art or people. People recognize a little piece of what they love in it and for most that brings our minds closer and we see each other even if for one brief second is an acknowledgement of I understand your language and I feel understood too.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Dior by Galliano SS couture 2004. Baby boy started playing the silhouette of a Faroah appeared then the runway lit up and the silhouette turned into a golden goddess making small steps down the disco lighting . This moment made me believe in the importance of details timing and craftsmanship in storytelling.
What would you do with $20,000?
Money gives you some peace of mind, specially In This volatile times. But for me the Big price is being able to attend a Versace show. Versace was probably the first name in fashion I identified with the exuberance and opulence that made my heart skip a bit and I’ve always held a special place I my heart and aesthetics for the house of Versace. As for the money it would give me a bit of solid ground and who doesn’t want that .
