What makes your style stand out?

My style stands out because it spans the generations, carrying the history of my family and their experiences, from my grandmother's fur hats to my mother's old ties, into the small elements of my everyday. Specifically, I style myself to show my identity as a daughter to this legacy and their life lessons and values that come with it, like perseverance in the face of hardship with my mother's old work blazers drawing from her story of pioneering her pathway in the workforce.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would be producing my own fashion show of a line of my own original creative designs and productions. Specifically, I would design a bridal collection that expresses the countless different forms of femininity that exist beyond the traditional landscape of women's gender roles within society, operating in contrast with the traditional formality of the role of a bride and marriage. It is my dream to create fashion that aims to liberate pass traditional boundaries.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won $20,000 I would use the money to pursue my love and passion for the arts and particularly fashion. The money could help me get supplies and learn more from professionals in separate art fields to utilize into my future, for instance learning how to glass blow to use the unconventional material of glass within my fashion designs. The money would provide me with a wider array of materials at which to explore my passions for ideas of designs in my head that I lack the means to reproduce.
