What makes your style stand out?
My style is a fusion of my love for japanese fashion with a preference for striking tones. I gravitate towards darker clothing with unique silhouettes taking inspiration from H.R. Giger and the creativity from old runway collections. Designers like Alexander Mcqueen, Dolce, Yohji Yamamoto, Alice Auaa, Issey Miyake, Vivienne, and even UNIQLO for a simple balance. My taste for clothing reflects a rebellious nature that I hold within, fashion is not only a statement of who I am but also political.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Ever since I was four, I’ve had a passion for dressing up and expressing myself through clothes. Watching runway shows sparked a dream in me I’ve always wanted to experience Fashion Week in person. For me, it’s not just about fashion, but the art, creativity, and history behind each collection. Being there would be a dream come true.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would finance myself for two years at fashion college at Bunka in tokyo, as I am half japanese and one of my favorite designers attended there, I would pursue and fulfill my dreams of releasing my own collection of clothes as I sew on a daily basis.
