Fashion is used as a tool to express what people can’t put into words; an art form that transcends standard communication.
What makes your style stand out?
What makes my style stand out is my ability to acclimate anything to my body. When I see the vision of how I want an outfit to look, I’ll tie it in ways it’s not meant to, cut and sew in places at random, to make the perfect piece for myself. Half of my wardrobe consists of clothes I’ve cut, sewed, and snipped to look exactly how I want them. I go as far as changing a top/pair of jeans twenty minutes before I have somewhere to go in them! My sewing machine is my best friend
What’s your dream fashion moment?
As a stylist, my dream fashion moment is to style someone one day and see how their perception of themselves completely changes (in a positive way). This has already happened on a smaller scale, but what drives me the most is seeing how helping someone find their style can change their life entirely. A style suited for you makes you more confident, and having confidence in one aspect of your life will bleed into all the others. You feel better about yourself. I want to do that for people.
What would you do with $20,000?
With the $20,000, I would first use the money to pay off anything I owe currently (college student). Next, It will all go towards my styling career. I’ll use it to buy new materials (z-racks, hangers, etc), invest in my website/portfolio, and use it to travel to different countries to expand my clientele and see fashion from a broader perspective. This money will truly circle back into my career. My passion alone for styling will take me far, but the extra $20,000 will help significantly.
