Fashion and style allows me to express the things I cannot put into words—it lets me invite people into my world and see it through my lens.
What makes your style stand out?
I grew up going to a Catholic school wearing a uniform. My grandmother never let me leave without my shirt and trousers properly pressed and my shoes shined. That memory is with me every single time I dress myself and start my day because it informed everything I know about presence and how to carry yourself. I don’t dress for anyone but me and to honor and tell my story, and I do my best to do that through what I put on my body.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
To be dressed in a fabulous ensemble, walking in it with joy and pride, surrounded by people who love fashion as much as I do.
What would you do with $20,000?
I live in Portland, Oregon where the fashion scene is not as diverse. I have a dream to open a pre-loved luxury boutique that also offers personal styling services.
