I’m passionate about style as transformation, truth, and storytelling. Crafting meaning into how I move, express, and fully exist.
What makes your style stand out?
My imagination and sense of self are strong pillars in my style. My ability to incorporate details from things I love into creating an outfit. Aspects that feel like me, but also bring a nostalgic or transformational aspect to something past or future-bound. Every different outfit is a different character, expression, and feeling. All under this one person, which creates a range of selves. It also just shows who you are, what you’re into at the moment, and all that you can connect to the world.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be my first runway walk. I love walking around, vibing, and parading in my outfit around the city. My first dream was to model, but I can’t get a degree for that and I have much more in me. So whether my own or someone else’s, I can’t wait to express a story with my presence and essence as a figure in the collection, in the action as a whole. Such a beautiful thing to wield.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’m a Parsons undergraduate so I would use half to pay off my already taken out student loans ;) and the rest to secure the rest of my education at the New School. This would allow me to, embody myself more. To alleviate one stress and factor, then use that energy to propel other very strong passions or ideas that have simply been stopped or had to be readjusted because of life. You must live today to be able to see tomorrow. We project too far into the future and forget the moment 🪩🧚🏾♀️☁️
