What makes your style stand out?

As a 90s kid, I was inspired by pop culture in the underground scene. As I got older, as a teen I worked at American Apparel and it shaped my style a lot. When the indie sleaze movement started taking off in the mid 2000s/2010s I curated my style around that through fashion blogging, thrifting and modelling. My style is unique because I come from a generation that embraced diversity and I was always looking for pieces and designers that weren’t as well known. I stand out in a room.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream moment would be to host events at galleries, runway and music venues. Fashion thrives when coexisting with other art forms! I would love to organize something that brings all of these passions and people in those industries together to make a full circle moment, with a cohesive and distinct aesthetic, vibe and sound that brings everything together. An event where designers, DJs, musicians, photographers, models, dancers, creative professionals, etc can all come together!

What would you do with $20,000?

I dream of having my own studio one day, where multi disciplinary art is facilitated. Imagine a place where sewing equipment, painting, airbrushing, sound treated music studio + dj setup, events, dancing could all coexist in the same building. I would love to create a studio like this to allow myself and a collective to create not only beautiful clothing, but art that inspires a full on creative movement that innovates the fashion world!
