What makes your style stand out?

My style stands out because I truly wear what I want! I don’t wear what others may think look good, and often times people tell me they never would have thought something I’m wearing would look good until I style it. I love to challenge stereotypes about what a man/woman should wear and I’ve freed myself from the chains of expectation. I think my freedom to choose what I want to wear and yearn to challenge norms, while also inspiring younger queer generations to embrace their true identity.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream has always been to make an impact in the fashion world. I used to dream of being a creative direction of a major fashion house or have my own fashion house, but my attitude has changed. I now would like to make an impact, whether that be the seamstresses that work behind closed doors, or the garment workers that dye fabric, or inspire younger generations. I want to embrace the true art that is fashion by understanding the history, different culture and traditions we often overlook.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would donate the funds to charity organizations to promote fashion amongst the younger queer generations that are as passionate about the art of fashion as I am. I think it’s important to not only inspire future generations, but also to create programs and provide resources to less privileged individuals so that all can join. Fashion truly is for everyone!
