What makes me passionate about style is my deceased mother, whom I lost just 16 months ago.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kertina Jones in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My journey in fashion began behind the scenes, where I assembled and coordinated looks for models. Pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising in high school and college, I aimed to become a Fashion Buyer. An unexpected discovery in a mall led me from backstage to the runway, modeling in a fashion show, and becoming a still model for Barbizon Modeling & Acting School. My style is grace, grit and glamour. I'm very versatile from urban to show stopping couture.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My most recent photo shoot with PilarAndujar Photography. The photo shoot campaign is tagged 40 over 40 Portrait Experience. I'm one of the 40 women selected. The photos will also be honored in March 2026 for International Women's Day.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use the money to help me fund an School of Etiquette in my mother's honor. I wish for her legacy to live on.
