What makes your style stand out?

Style has got to be my winter scarves from Iceland, from Spain, from Greece, from Hungary; luck took me to many more places, and more scarves! I could take in culture and transpose my exterior. I get away with it a colorful set of scarves in winter!

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I was standing in a line about to walk into a dance club in California when I was 40. A New York photographer approached me and said, you have the greatest aging face; I would like your photos to be in my portfolio. I thought at first he was kidding, but as he became more serious, I agreed to do a two hour photo shoot in his private studio. I’m a lefty and it’s in my fiber to create!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would like to go to Bali. I’ve been told it’s beautiful. I just might share a few thousand with the two people most important to me! Perhaps, I would find a piece of art in my travels. And, just, perhaps, a good cup of coffee as I sit and write another book! I would like to be a New York best seller, a book turned into a movie, and sit on the red carpet, listening to an announcer who says the movie would not have been possible without the creativity of the author!
