I chase fashion that tells my story—bold, curious, rule-bending, and alive with the chaos of someone who refuses to blend in.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kemi in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it’s me in motion—bold, curious, and unpredictable. I mix elegance with chaos, vintage with modern, comfort with edge. I don’t dress to impress; I dress to express. Every outfit is a reflection of my mood, my story, my power. I don’t follow trends—I twist them. My style isn’t perfect or polished; it’s alive, confident, and unapologetically mine.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment? Stepping onto a runway—not just as a model, but as the designer. The lights hit, the music drops, and my collection storms out: sharp lines, unexpected textures, colors that shouldn’t go together but somehow sing. The crowd goes quiet for a second, that stunned inhale before the applause. It’s not about fame—it’s about proving that my imagination can walk, breathe, and own the room. That’s the moment fashion stops being fabric and becomes power.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000 I’d build my freedom in fabric. I’d invest in pieces, training, and spaces that let me experiment without apology. I’d launch my own line or pop-up shop, travel to see real designers at work, and create a wardrobe that isn’t just clothes but a manifesto. Every dollar would go to tearing down the fences around my style so my queer expression could be as loud, fluid, and una pologetic as I am.
