I believe that it's not about being fashionable but it's about having a certain style. If we all had the same style wouldn't life be a drag?
We would like to thank you for supporting Keaton Gray in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
Well I'm not afraid of sticking to the basics and not standing out at all. I believe in mystery when it comes to fashion. Although maximalism is the new thing, I have chosen to carefully curate a wardrobe pulled from a variety of eras. Being an old soul has allowed me to take inspiration from classic 60s, 80s, and 90s looks and has almost let me live through those eras with what I wear. Contrary to what most believe, I feel that I tend to stand out even more by sticking to capsule pieces.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Although I typically take things one day at a time, if I had to choose one dream it would simply be to let myself be heard. To allow those who feel uninspired when they look in their closet and see that they only have a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans, to know that that is all they need. I think that life is too short to stress out so much about what to wear but to use clothing to express ourselves! All I want is for the world to comprehend that. I think it's quite poetic truly.
What would you do with $20,000?
Something that I have always been obsessive over is health. Our bodies health and what we wear and how we take care of it... it all ties together you see. Unfortunately I am a victim of the autoimmune disorder alopecia areata. The amount of individuals living with an auto immune condition is outrageous. If I were to have any amount of money close to this, I would 100% use it to work towards research of why these healthy humans have to endure this awful disorder.
