I love clothes! I am drawn to crazy patterns and colors. I don’t care who’s watching, I let my freak flag fly and embrace the uniqueness.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kaya Gore in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style is very colorful and hard to miss. My hair has been pink and green for 4 years. Most of my wardrobe is neon pink and green. People often know me as the pink lady! I will get lots of wonderful compliments and I catch people’s eye. I don’t always wear pink and green, but my clothes will always match. I am a colored-coded girly. I also wear lots of sparkly 70s clothes!
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is to showcase my own personal style to people. I could talk for hours about clothes I have bought from goodwill and all the wonderful things I did with them. I want to inspire others who don’t own their own style and lack the confidence to stand out. I have always been shy, but one day I stopped caring what people thought and started wearing the clothes I loved. I became so much happier and felt more like myself. I want to help others express themselves without fear.
What would you do with $20,000?
The first thing I would do with $20,000, is go on a shopping spree! I deserve some more clothes, and that kind of money goes a LONG way at secondhand clothes stores. I have been broke after starting college and it would be nice to have an opportunity to treat myself and my style. I would also buy some much needed new shoes! If I won, I would also donate to style icon to give my thanks! I would also put $10,000 into my savings for future emergencies. I would also give my parents $1,000 each.
