What makes your style stand out?

My own designs, as well as the clothing I wear on the daily, will often feature references to the occult and various historical eras. I love a colorful and jovial spin on that, though! I love to look magical and whimsical; looking otherworldly is when I feel my most authentic. Kitschy details are essential to creating my fantasy! Colorful makeup, glitter, and too many accessories are also a part of the look.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I would love to improve my skills and create for others! We have been seeing huge moments for queer artistry, and to be a part of that would be an honor. I'm very proud to see the lgbt community have increasing visibility in the mainstream, especially given the current political climate! Art and fashion have always been a necessary resistance and my heart is full seeing so much of it lately.

What would you do with $20,000?

It's hard to think of one thing from within a rock bottom tax bracket! I would love to help my family with essentials. I would also love to invest in furthering my education in fashion and the arts! I already have a psychology degree, and am only self-taught in the visual arts that I love so much. While I'm proud of my ability to create despite only having amateur knowledge and materials, I know that there is much to learn!
