What makes your style stand out?

I think I stand out because I can’t be pigeonholed into one style. My students say I’m goth, boho, vintage etc. The one thing I’m not is sloppy. I’m a fat, almost 60 year old woman who won’t be defined by my size or age. Bright colors, earth tones, black and white, red suede flats or Doc Martin Mary Jane’s- they are all MY style. AND, a former shoe designer from Milan said I had cute feet!

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I would love to attend fashion week in New York and afford a shopping spree in one of the vintage shops in the city.

What would you do with $20,000?

My dream is to visit Florence with my husband and see all the art I have been studying and teaching about for the last 40 years. Our 35th anniversary is next year. I would also to the pragmatic thing and put some into my grandson’s college fund.
