What makes your style stand out?
My style has a vintage element to it, because I really love repurposing things I find second hand. I love to shine a light on clothes that have been donated. Or discarded. ☹️
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I love to see a sketch step off the page, I’ve only had the opportunity to design a few looks from scratch, and work with a seamstress, to create a look from an idea. So I think a fashion dream moment would be to see a bunch of my designs together, in some sort of runway scenario.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would probably find an auntie who can sew, and design an entire line of clothing to wear as my rockstar alter ego Kandy Roar. I would love to be more involved with designing and building performance wear, as well as create a sustainable way to utilize the continuous displacement of abandoned clothing.
