What makes your style stand out?
Style is an outward reflection of the individual. My style exemplifies who I Am and my unique outlook on the world. I try not to take myself too seriously and draw inspiration from my interests. I find beauty in the juxtaposition of quiet grandeur and over the top silhouettes. My aesthetic draws inspiration from afro-futurism and bespoke design. My style is a culmination of cultural influences and is meant to inspire.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I am a designer based out of Chicago Illinois, it is a dream of mine to headline my own shows during Paris, New York, London and Milan Fashion Weeks. My urban background offers a unique POV when it comes to creating my couture and ready-to-wear collections.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would put the $20,000.00 towards my fashion business. As an independent designer, it can get tricky securing capital to put towards the expansion of my business. This opportunity would not only aid in the financial hurdles I have faced as it pertains to my business but it would also aid in global exposure.
