What makes your style stand out?

Everyone in Hawaii thinks less is more, so most men wear all black/white shoes/slippers with camo or all black pants/shorts and a plain tee. I can’t do that. I like to stand out no matter what I do, which is why I also try to find unique one of a kind pieces no one else has through thrifting, or shopping (rarely). I also try to incorporate my childhood grunge aesthetic that stands out here because not a lot of people wear or know brands like DC, Rusty or Tapout.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My absolute dream is to walk in a show or model for Louis Vuitton. This has been a dream of mine since I was a little boy because I was always inspired by what Marc Jacobs did. Even with the switch to Virgil Abloh, I was in love with everything they put out.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 for my schooling and towards building a brand for myself that is established here in Hawaii. That is one of my biggest goals because only few have made it to shows/magazines as Hawaiian owned brands here, and I believe I have the vision and drive to do it.
