Staying away from current trends! As crazy as it may sound, I've always felt that dressing according to current fashion trends kills creativity and individuality. If you're always dressing to stay on trend, are you really standing out? My personal style mantra is to always opt for unexpected, standout fashion pieces that no one would even think to try. I love to incorporate bold prints, statement shoes, and excessive jewelry when putting together my look.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would be styling some of my greatest fashion inspirations in the industry. The opportunity to work alongside some of my biggest inspirations, such as Rihanna, Solange Knowles, FKA Twigs, and Erykah Badu, to curate looks that celebrate creativity and individuality would be a dream come true. I would love to curate looks that blend bold colors, striking prints, and eye-catching statement jewelry to be showcased on a red carpet or featured in a major fashion campaign.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I were lucky enough to win $20,000, I would use these funds to invest in myself and my career aspirations, specifically in the fashion industry. For a long time, I've sought out spaces and opportunities where I could be included at the table to pursue my dreams. However, I've recently come to realize the freedom and power of building my own table and developing my own creative spaces, where doors open for me rather than waiting to be invited in. It's all about creating my own opportunities!
