My style is rebellious femme alchemy: vintage slips, punk minis, bold layers trans identity turns it into raw, unapologetic art!!
We would like to thank you for supporting Julian in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because I fuse lace, vintage slips, punk minis, and layered accessories into bold, feminine armor. I spend hours thrifting and reworking pieces into something uniquely mine. As a trans woman, I walk bravely in the face of danger, wearing my truth, and taking up space with unapologetic confidence. every outfit is expression, reclamation of power in a trying world against trans individuals, and a statement that always turns heads.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is striding the world’s runways in my body and size, unapologetically myself, a force of bold beauty and advocacy for my community. Like the dolls(trans women) on the runways, I strive to claim every spotlight but with a real-world twist: I am a marginalized trans woman of color, not a size 00, proving that strength, influence, and glamour exist far beyond the rigid standards, and that being seen in your truth is the ultimate couture.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d give a substantial portion to the Translations Coalition in LA, supporting dolls of color in my community and beyond. I’d help my family, living within our means, and pay for college to become a clinical psychologist, guiding trans youth like I once was. I’d also build a plan for long-term financial independence, creating freedom to thrive, invest in myself, and continue uplifting my community for years to come!
