What makes your style stand out?
Lady Gaga said "There can be 100 people in a room and 99 don’t believe in you, but all you need is one who does.” My creative expression blossomed when I became that one person who started to believe in myself. This mindset has given me the confidence to experiment with my style and ignore the negative attention. “Pay it no mind” as Marsha P. Johnson said. 🦋
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Every time I enter a thrift store and snag a glamorous necklace, iconic shoes, fabulous purse, and chic hat. My dreams are endless like my fashion archive. 😆
What would you do with $20,000?
All would be donated to nonprofits that support LGBTQ+ ppl & immigrants. $10,000 would be donated to Haus of Transcendent (HOT), a nonprofit I founded that’s building affordable housing for LGBTQI2S+ ppl; $2,500 to Cleveland’s LGBT Center (food, healthcare, & support groups); $2,500 to TransOhio (emergency assistance); & $1,000 to each: B. Riley (rehab, sober living), Young Latino Network (workforce), Esperanza (workforce), Margie’s Closet (safe space), & Mx Juneteenth (community celebration).
