What makes your style stand out?
The structured yet elegant construction of my pieces is what makes them stand out. Each piece is intentional, from the structure of the cups, to the 100% cotton thread I use, to the vibrant color combinations. I have taken a traditional craft, crochet lace work, and modernized it.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be seeing my pieces on the runway or in a museum exhibit. What I really desire is to share my art with the world, and to show the versatility of crochet.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would invest the $20,000 into the growth of my business, so that I would have the financial stability to explore the arts and fulfill humanitarian dreams. I want to eventually be able to fund other creatives on their journey. So many miss out on opportunities because of financial instability. If I could alleviate that stress from someone else besides myself, I would be happy.
