I see style as a type of artistry. Its not just putting on an outfit. Its putting on an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jomar Fonseca in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I really feel like my appearance makes my style stand out, I look different than most people I like to see myself as having a unique look and I think that’s a way that makes my style stand out to others. I’m still trying to discover my own sense of style.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Stepping out on a red carpet with an outfit that has no gender something that screams confidence and resilency, I would love to wear something unique in a way that is phoenix like representing me being a phoenix rising from the ashes. I’ve been through a lot from losing my father at 16 to moving to a new state and living in a not so good home environment, I was pushed to move back to Chicago to stay with family alone at 19 and have been trying to rebuild ever since.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use some to visit my grandma in Puerto Rico who I haven’t seen in years. She suffered from a car accident years ago I think it would be nice for me to spend some more time with her while I have it. The rest I would use to move to NYC, it’s always been a dream for me to live there and follow my dreams.
