First impressions matter and before you speak, your appearance speaks for you. Style allows you to control how you want to be perceived.
We would like to thank you for supporting John Ayala in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I've been collecting pieces for years from thrift stores, vacations, etc. So i definitely have some pretty unique pieces. I love funky patterns and fun textures and i also love combining aspects of masculine and feminine fashion. I typically draw inspiration from other queer people.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
A dream fashion moment for me would just be to have people talking about me. There will never be an outfit or article of clothing that everyone likes. But to hear people talking about your outfits and debate their opinions, that is fashion reaching the point of art in my opinion.
What would you do with $20,000?
I have always wanted to start making and selling my own jewelry. I've made body chains and other kinds of jewelry for myself but I think if I won this money it would encourage me to start taking things more seriously and start selling some pieces that I make.
