What makes your style stand out?

I love to take elements from my cultures (Filipinos & Chinese Indonesians represent!) and incorporate them into my outfits. No outfit is the same because I truly feel that they speak to what I’m feeling that day, which is never identical to the previous one. I allow myself to be authentic and not just trendy, and the details of my outfits each speak to a feeling or a movement I am pushed to represent! Most of all, I let myself have fun with it!

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I live my dream fashion moment every time I feel fully myself in an outfit, but if I were to want something more, it would be to help encourage learning the language of style to youth who, like myself once, feel awkward in their own skin, come into rooms lacking confidence, or simply envy the style of their peers. It’s so important, especially now, for young people to learn that being stylish and being confident doesn’t always mean fitting the trend; it means fitting your feelings.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’d invest part of it for the future education of my little brother and I, and use another part to further my acting and music dreams! The rest I’d put into starting a free closet for the youth. It’d be a donations-based “thrift shop” where students without reliable sources for style can take and/or exchange up to 3 items of clean clothes every month. This would give students the chance to explore their style and confidence without financial worry!
